We were worried at work that due to the bad weather e.g. fog his arrival and departures would be disrupted! So I penned an email to my boss with a few questions, namely the ones below.
Dear Boss,
In the event of having an adhoc handling request for Santa Air in the early hours of 25/12/06, we, the operations team, have a few questions. Please email the department back with your answers.
1 - Is it legal to chock a reindeer on arrival, or is it against animal rights?
2 - Will BP the fuellers be able to supply carrots, or will that need to come from Alpha Catering?
3 - In the event of a start up problem, where exactly do you stick an Air Start Unit pipe?
4 - If they request a Ground Power Unit, will they also need a reinducer attached?
5 - Will Santa do his own loadsheet, or will he expect us to do it? If so, does he like it tail or nose heavy?
6 - When filling in a Customs GA report for his arrival, will we need to include the reindeers names on it.
7 - As the sleigh only has one red nav light at the front, is it legal to operate at an airfield at night?
8 - If we suspect that the PIC has been drinking, do we call airfield ops and the police.
So far the boss hasn't replied!

You notice he has no helpers travelling as loadmasters
Aparently that is due to Elfin safety rules.
