Serious Threat to Aviation

Post by speedbird591 »

No - not Al Quaeda! According to this article in yesterday's paper, the Deputy Prime Minister is authorised to order the shooting down of a civil airliner if it's considered a threat.

They definitely need to check out BA flights coming from Miami. Perhaps Gordon Brown can make the decision

Just checked the article and it's only the PM, Prescott, the Home Secretary and the Transport Secretary. Gordon Brown and John Reid are definitely not on the list! Makes you think......

EDIT: Oops - I forgot that John Reid was moved to the Home Office - I hope TB hasn't forgotten!
