Hi folks - thought you might like this update...

For those that visit the AVP at Manchester, you may have got the idea not a lot is happening with our Trident, "ZuluKilo" .... well nothing could be further from the truth with the interior undergoing a massive refurb! :)

Took a couple of shots tonight of the restored cockpit - it looks stunning and just as it did during her operations from LHR. Neil Lomax has done an amazing job, pretty much single-handed on this.

Once she is complete and open, you should find an amazingly well preserved piece of aviation history and few touches that will make this exhibit rather special... :;):

So here is a taster of what you can expect...

Next year will be a big year for us ... watch this space :;):

Thats amazing!

Well done to all involved on this project, I can't wait till she is all back together and open to see, I'd certainly pay to see the inside of it.

Wonderful. I often chat to Neil when my work allows me to visit the AVP. He (and all the team!) have done an incredible job with this project. I only long for her to be put back together for everyone to see how beautiful she is.

Thanks for posting these shots.

That is absolutely stunning, those shots from the flight deck and cabin are brilliant. Peter, out of interest how many times did you fly this particular one?
