Avsim download speed

Anybody experiencing really low download speeds on Avsim?

Yes matey..

I pulled Airac0608 off there yesterday evening and it came down at a paltry 35kbs. I note that they're asking for donations to help with bandwidth so I presume they're heading towards 'Allnodes' status

I'm getting JBK's Stratoliner at 13-ish ATM :sad: I wish I could say Id ever had ANYTHING at 35 on this conncetion, but Id just be fibbing!

Me too.I wonder if it might be time of day related, ie slower as the daytime progresses across the US with more users and greater demands on bandwidth.On the odd occasion that I have downloaded something mid morning UK time the baud rate seems to be higher.ATB EricT

I've downloaded a few bits and pieces in the last week and I can't say it was any slower than anything else..........had it been I would have noticed :think:

Could just be them being busy at certain times lately with follow on from Christmas and folks with new systems downloading addons
