Heads UP AI York

In the next few days Manfred Jahn will be putting an AI version of our York on classic brit files.

I have never done an AI fde before. Bits I don't like, take off run too short, climb too steep and seems to be heavy on the landing. Pointers from those who understand these things would be appreciated. The flyable york is not too far away; but with 2 engine versions (M22 and M24) pluts 3 different load configurations for each, its more test flying particularly long range flights than I can manage. My PC is on its last legs so if you have experience of tail draggers from that era your help would be appreciated.

For an AI model it's tremendous - in fact all it needs is a panel and a sound link to some Merlins - like a nearby Lancastrian - and it blows the socks off many a "full" model.

Can't wait for the full-blown job, but in the meantime I'm not letting any pesky AI pilot get in the way of me enjoying this version.

Paul as a AI it works very well, holds the glide slope and does not fly like a porpoise, have'nt flown it myself yet but will soon thanks to all concerned.
