Hi Jetty

Another one of those airline/types marriages that you think would go one for ever.

I remember being quite shocked when Pan Am retired the Boeing 707.

I have a Civil Aircraft Markings 1968 in which Pan Am 707's go on for pages.

Hi Garry,

Funny you should mention the Civil Aircraft Markings, as I can clearly remember walking around Tesco's with my mum as a kiddie winkle having just come out of a bookshop with my shiny new Civil Aircraft Marking 1986 edition and noting almost straight away that all the Trident 3's were amended to the title - withdrawn.

I almost burst into tears, especially as I did'nt even know BA had plans to do this. :crying:

Good news/Bad News

ATA have purchased 6 of NWAs DC10s to replace their L1011s for Military
contracts it seems - and I can bet that World and Omni will pick up some
so theres like in the old girl yet.
