Yes that's where I got the info....
Damn pop-musicians....
"Look at them yoyo's, money for nothing, and their chicks for free...."
I can only presume that he has booked the wrong aircraft, as he normally flies Tridents...
I hope you choke in all the fuel I left in her...

OK, Ivan
You've learned your lesson, G-ASGK is not the worst to have your first VC10 flight in.....
But she's mine, mine, MINE !..
"My precious...." :madhead:

MAN!! Talk about a head wind

, JFK was 7.3 hours. I started my decent to early though. That sucked some fuel and time up.. Great Aircraft the Super VC-10. It turns great, it's better than expected in slow flight and I'm getting so I can nail approaches with her.. So, thanks Dan, for letting me take my first VC flight for the VA in your wonderful Aircraft..{ well, you didn't really "let me" but, thanks just the same } She was 99% when I picked her up and she's 98.9 at JFK.. I'll have a tail wind on the way east, up and over the pond so I'll get G-ASGK back quickly. None of the VC's were 100% so I grabbed the paper work for a 99% Aircraft as it's a long flight and wanted the best one I could find. um, I guess I found the best one.
I guess I should pick one to fly. It seems we have a few at EGLL and not that many of us fly them..
Sorry......

She had 9457 kgs fuel in the tanks remember? Fuel is at high cost in EGLL...
Could I borrow your shoes by the way?

Hi All
Just to clear things off...
This whole case is just my taking Piss-La-grande!
I might have come a bit out of hand.
We are ALL entitled to take whatever aricraft is available for us at the aircraft HUB, no question AT ALL about that. Ivan took G-ASGK in EGLL as he has every right to. No-one "own" the aircraft. Some of us (well... I do), has the (bad) habit of using the same aircraft every time we (I) fly in VA, but we can't and should not have the sole right of any aircraft.
Quite another business is it when you get away from the hub, where you should take note of if any of your fellow pilots is there. Don't take the aircraft from him in that case, as it would leave him stranded. This is NOT the case at the hub.
So please do NOT take this thread serious. It is just my sick sense of humour, and it might offence some.
Sorry for that.
And Ivan: Let me stress, you have done NOTHING wrong at all. If anyone should say sorry, I should be me, if you feel you have been flocked in public.. (well you have, but that's not what I mean....you know what I mean....don't you...). I'm sorry.
Enjoy you stay at Kennedy, as long as you like, and I'll snap GK out of your hands when you return.
Blue skies to all.
