How many flying hours have you clocked up?
Hi all,
was discussing simming (for a change) last night and the subject of total flying hours came up.
So I sat down and worked out, only very roughly, how many hours I have clocked up over the years.
For this I have started from my Flight sim 98 days and included everything right up to the present day in FSX. I don't log my flight times as a rule but generally know, very roughly, how many hours a week I spend on FS and thus was able to come up with an estimate figure. I'm hoping it won't be too far out but this figure includes every aircraft category as I think it would be impossible for me to work out figures for each aircraft type. So this includes all airliners, general aviation, military and helicopters.
On average I would estimate I spend 8 hours per week and have done since 1999.
That equates to almost 3000 hours!
I think others flying hours will obliterate this figure..
However, can someone post me a badge?

I suffer from paranoid amnesia. I can't remember who I don't trust.

Hi Nigel
I work nights these days and hardly sleep.
i would guess on an average of 40 hours a week in sim & FSDS3
maybe more.
my FSX logbook says 1053.4 hr so far remember i tested the chipmunk and all my others for a few weeks to find the problems so i can make a plan of action.
still not made one
I seem to be the only person on the planet that prefers FSX to FS9
But i always was a Sheperd & never a Sheep
Regards
Rick
