The flyable version of the York is now available on classicbrits.

Downloads so far are disappointing - so I'm giving you all a nudge; even those who only fly VC which it does not have.

But it's had 1722 downloads at Avsim, having been mentioned here:

I think the download a very good for this given the time and the fact the AI was already out

As to the lack of VC...funny how no one had complained about the F-28 not having a VC

Doesn't bother me and I never use them

Picked it off avsim as mentioned above. I think the vc is perfect as it stands. - virtually clear.

Would it help if I pestered about what repaints are coming up ?? I saw an ad for EUJet on the side of a cab the other night, made me wonder ....

I am enjoying exploring the York very much. First impressions are good and I think I may be flying this model a great deal. Whats that?... Jens' updated Empire 'boats out now as well?... I'm still enjoying the Sandringham! FlighSimming is terrific, isn't it?

Thanks everyone. Most of the credit should go to Manfred, for a lowish poly model the detail is terrific. Hope you have all drooled over his tyres.

Just bin over on Classicbrits.
Someone called Arthur Melton has commented: "Nice looking aircraft but climbs and dives with the slightest change in flight parameters. Difficult to control."

If anyone is having problems can they let me know here.
