Jaap de Baare has this very nice York repaint coming up over the weekend (at avsim and simviation). It's even got night lighting...
And if all goes well he might also do Churchill's "Ascalon", he says ...

That may not be as easy as it looks.....
'Ascalon' was the only York built with square windows so unless the model is built windowless or is able to be modified heavily it won't be 100% correct.

Well spotted Kit

Ascalon II had round windows mind you but the livery was totally different

DaveB,
Comes from being immersed in Yorks from an early age.
My Dad was Ground Chief for TCTDF (Transport Command Training and Development Flight) in the 50s at Abingdon and Benson and they had the last three Yorks in RAF service. Sadly I never got to fly in one, but used to spend hours bumbling around the cabins and cockpits on Wednesday afternoons when we weren't at school.
Can't imagine being able to do that in today's RAF! And the HSE would want to see my Method Statement and Risk Assessment before I even walked up the steps......
