Total Eclipse of the Moon

Post by Garry Russell »

Not that they are anything like as spectacular as total solar eclipses...

For anyone interested and in the nighttime at the moment there is a total lunar eclipse well on the go now.

Not yet total but soon will be.

GMT

21:30 partial eclipse begins
22:43 total eclipse begins
23:20 maximum extent
23:58 total eclipse ends
01:11 total eclipse ends.

Hi Joe

Fortunately and quite rarely........we do.

As against the comet when there was not one clear enough evening when it was really around
