...can now download a Conversion Kit to make McLeland Field fully compatible with Glacier Bay v2. It also adds many enhancements. The download is still an ongoing "Work in Progress" but it has reached a stage where it does the job. I will be interested to hear from users of any deficiencies like untextured or missing items.

The ship Traffic has had a major change and I quote here from one of the Read Me files...

"Now let us set up an automatic Batch file that will make your computer select the pair of ships according to the day of the week that you are booting up in...Note this is your computer system day of the week and NOT your Flight Simulator day of the week. This enables you to always start with the same saved flight on say Thursday but you will have a different pair of Cruise ships depending on the real day of the week. BTW you can still overide this with your new DeskTop Shortcut that you just set up."

"OK your ship traffic is now all setup and will perform as described...If you wish to watch the Cruise ships change over, then in Flight Simulator at McLeland Field go World > Time and Season > Set the time in the right GMT window to 23:59:00 and click OK...in about one minute the two visible Cruise ships will start up and one will leave the anchorage and proceed out along the Buoyed Passage out through the Russell Fjord, past the Hobart Glacier and out to the ocean. The other ship will replace it in the anchorage and drop its anchor pointing into wind (within 30 degrees)."

The download is here and will be kept up to date as I finish off the Conversion Kit:-

Edit...I think the kit is finished now except for some special aircraft that got incorporated into the conversion (the AI versions of the Trident3, B707, Air Force One and its accompanying C141B). I include the aircraft now as a separate download because of size:-

The aircraft will appear automatically with the conversion kit installed but also included were batch files to switch on and off the President's Thursday visit and another to choose between four liveries for the AI Trident3 flying in Europe...The one that pops in and out of McLeland Field remains in BEA livery.
