The basic shape is good but there look to be a few funny shading issues around the nose cone and the dorsal fin, Rick knows the cure to this I think. Good work though, keep it up - looking forward to this

Beautiful! I always wanted to be John Fairley

'It's a lot esier to stop and land than to land and stop' etc.

That blue/white/red scheme has to be THE best looking Harrier ever.

What about the GR5 they used for the Pegasus 11-61 tests, I remember modelling that one a few years back, midnight blue and white, very dramatic!!

Personally I've always thought G-VTOL looked right (as in, if it looks right, it is right) in the middle eastern scheme.

Hi UKMIL

You can send me the fsc's and i will fix them if you like.

they have some unwanted points & colinear vertices in them by the look of it.

also needs some smoothing groups applied.

all FOC and i promise i won't pinch anything
& i don't want any credit as my name is on too many models now

Then when i send back the file you can see how i did it

Or just send the fin part .

whatever you want really, i'm easy. :worried:

Regards
Rick

I thought the blue undersides of G-VTOL in the first pics should be a bit brighter. But maybe my memory has faded.

I'll try to find my photos from the 1970s when it displayed at Woodford.

Hope you can help me on that one! Finding good pictures to paint these schemes has been a buggerance for me! A point in question is the starboard side of the desert coloured G-VTOL. It's a wee bit of a hybrid based on the few photos I could find. (That is,the large white numerals are correct but the tail is a mirror of the port side).

Still, I'm pleased with the results so far! I'm working on the SKYHOOK scheme this week...
