Classic British Flight Sim

My favourite Bond is Sean Connery, probably more because he was the first than for any other reason, but I like Pierce Brosnam as well - he has the deadly but suave and smooth qualities that seem to sum the character up. Favourite Bond girl is probably Denise Richards.

I don't think that interest is possible in a commercial aviation world full of low-cost airlines and glass cockpits.

Boycotting FSX won't make FSXI any better than it otherwise will be - even if sufficient numbers of people participated to actually make a significant impact (which they won't), then the only effect of low sales would be MS ditching FS for good and never making another version.

If I had a half-decent computer then I'd buy FSX straight away, for the simple reason that recently I've got very sick of FS2004 even with all the great add-ons (mostly freeware) that make it a thousands times better than it was originally. But I've just had enough of seeing exactly the same world ...

Sorry to use bad language, but is CFS 3 so bad? The VERY active community are constantly working on improvements (a nice Gladiator has recently been released) and it is now (or will shortly be) possible to cover WW II all the way from the Spanish Civil War right through to the end. Standalone ...

How tragic - the people who destroy aviation in this way to further their own greedy ambitions should be lined up and shot.

Interesting one, although no more crazy as voting the IFly 744 as better than either DM's 1-11 or RP's HS748.

VAT... DM was correct. That would be used uf for some reason we had to land straight away and could not dump fuel.


This brings up an interesting point I think. If both options are available, is it better to dump fuel (which is obviously costs money for the wasted fuel) or land overweight ...
