Jetty, are there advantages to using Tantris AI traffic instead of Traffic 2005? I have Ultimate Traffic (allegedly) but would Tantris be better? If so, how?
Questions, questions, questions (but it is exam time after all).
Cheers,
Chris

FS Crew Workload
This particular topic results from a discussion of the Mars over on the Payware forum. For those that don't visit, or have not seen it, there was (is) some discussion over real world panel configurations (50's era that is) and the workload of the crew, viz pilots, f/e's etc. The discussion (crew wor...

737 Pilot in Command
Bought 737 PiC today. Not bad - lots of switches to play with and like Rick's recent masterpiece you have to work through the list to start it properly. Unlike Rick's (and other designers here) work there are some interesting visual flaws - that the rotating beacons are absolutely crap is a good for...

Room for a cup holder or two on that panel, don't you think? (Something to put the drinks on from the bar  ) On a more serious note - since the 60's at least we have come to expect a panel full of gauges and switches and it does look a bit odd to have a panel with acres of nothing on it. Kind ...

Having flown from/to Gatwick a few days ago it seems that the second, smaller, runway is used occaisionaly. There are tire marks that appear to indicate recent landing aircraft (albeit small ones) - either that or someone's doing wheelies when taxying  Maybe someone who's connected with Gatwic...

I was in Toulouse a few days ago and saw the A380 doing a series of test flights (only about 10-15 minutes each). Oddly enough it doesn't look that big from certain angles, e.g. the side (it looks huge from the back). It does get off the ground pretty sharpish, although it might not have had much we...

AndyG - that's more revolution than evolution! Or even Quantom Physics (see second para). It's one of a few instances when something metomorphises from state A to state B within a few seconds - I'm not sure that it counts!. Also the absolute of state B is dependent on which KFC you go to and at whic...
