Reading the manual, nobody does that around here! :roll: (Sorry Rick ).
I use dreamweaver and I find it an effective way of displaying my photographs, dont have to create a seperate page for each photo, just a flash display for each section.
The only bit of advice I would give is stick to simple HTML, the CSS Style sheets are not worth bothering with IMHO.

Whereas my advice would be the opposite! I have found CSS to be an absolute godsend; coupled with sensible use of templates it makes global changes to the website a piece of cake.
Its probably cause I was using the templates, and not designing from scratch (wouldn't know how to do that, Im a photographer, not a web designer, lol )
They were ok to begin with, but I found that once I'd created a site, if I wanted to add another section, I'd have to start over again.
But like I said, Im too lazy to create a really good looking site in CSS, so I created a meduim look site in HTML instead!

My first attempt was also using the standard templates, I had the same problems as you. It gave me the incentive I needed to dig further, and the results I can now produce are a lot more acceptable. Of course I mercilessly steal ideas wherever I can; see if you can spot the element I borrowed from here.
