New DC-6, for FS2004 and FSX

Post by jensbk »

Hi all,

I've just uploaded my latest effort to Avsim - the DC-6 in its earliest version with short nose (no radar), round-tipped Curtiss propellers etc. The model is, of course, related to my DC-4 from last year, but has been changed, developed and improved in many areas.

American, United, Delta, SAS and Sabena in this release. Only a few other operators (Panagra, Phillipine Airlines and FAMA as far as I know) had this early version. I hope to do those paint schemes, if I can find the necessary information!

best regards

Jens

Blimey.. coincidence or what. I was only over at calclassics this afternoon looking at their DC6 having had a quick spin in the Carvair and not liking the sounds or DC3 panel

Cheers Jens

Oh Happy day!
Thanks Jen, I had been hoping you would do one of these. Any plans for additional DC6/7 variants?

Your DC-4 is one of my favorites and I am sure this one will be a welcome addition to the hanger.
