Hi Guys

I had planned to keep it a secret till release.

but i always was :-# :-# :-# :-# at keeping secrets

i thought i had better preview it before everyone thought i was sleeping.

Just fancies something to fly with the Spitfires & other WWII stuff.

and as the Blenheim was basically for the same job as the Mossie it was a logical step backwards.

great for a Blast across Holland at 210 kts collecting foliage in the undercarriage.

Sadly still have a mountain of bits to build in probably the most un-ergonomic cockpit ever built

the bit you see in the shots is the only bit that is where you would expect it to be.

Regards
Rick

Looks rubbish Rick. The wheels are too round.. everything looks too real. Bin it and go back to 8-sided models and 8bit colour

Welcome to the forum Tim

The cockpit of that reminds me now of the cockpit of that Dornier that was posted the other week. Definite weak point in some of the earlier WWII bombers that the crew were too exposed :worried:

I suppose you sacrifice your cover for observation capability. Swings & roundabouts I guess..

As stated many times before

thread is Mk1 & Mk1F (no i am not making a MkIV)

it's too much work as the front is far too different plus there are no proper MkIV Blenhiems to work from either as they are all Bolingbrokes with a completely different cockpit layout to a British Mk IV.

Just want to kill this request before it gets out of hand like usual.
FS models of the current standard are hard enough without producing every available variant to suit everyone.

this is why i did not make a Mossie as there are dozens of variants and i knew it would be a pain trying to keep people happy unless i made them all which is a no go.

just making the variants in the heading only as that is far too much work as it is.

Non modellers seem to think that you can make a current model in a couple of weeks.

you can't , what you see in the shots is at a guess 500 hours into the project and about £200 of my own money on Videos/books & pilots notes.

All this for freeware too.

so please don't ask for this & that extra as it is never going to happen.
all it will do is make me turn payware which i hate or give up for good as it's not good for my health or sanity as it is.

Regards
Rick

I don't think anyone under-estimates the amount of work that has to be put into making a top quality model, such as yours, but please don't mistake a question for a request. I myself only asked if there would be a Mk.IV, not for a Mk.IV.

Please, keep up the good work. I shall look forward to downloading this Mk.I

So no chance of a Bisley then Rick?

Seriously though, this is looking very nice, consider my breath baited! The FS versions we have had to date have not been brilliant, a Piper meisterwerk is surely more than we deserve!

Mind you, now you've posted these previews, I expect we'll see an Itosan production within a couple of weeks!
