Hunters in FSX

Post by Patron7 »

Like most of you, I'm a rabid Hunter fan. I just finished installing it in FSX.

It works great, with no instrument gauge problems etc. - except that there is no glass in the canopies.

DaveG: could you please take a look at this and see what would be necessary to put glass back in the canopy frames. It's not only markedly colder flying without the glass - my visor is just not equipped to handle these hurricane winds!

I've diligently looked to see if someone else has mentioned this - but haven't seen it if it's there.

Might be me going mad, but try adding _T to the end of the filename that the glass uses (if it uses a texture).

Then again, DG is probably the best one to offer support. But no harm in trying!

There is no glass texture, that's why FSX doesn't like it.

There will be an update at some stage, but it will be a proper upgrade rather that a quick patch.

As ever, it will be done when it's done.

Thanks Dave,

I'm really happy that it will ultimately be done.

Whenever you happen to complete the update is fine.
