I don't know what to make of this. Not the most reliable source I guess. But perhaps its just another example of the UK going completely bonkers... :huf:

Oh...........Here we go again.......
The Home Office Minister today announced in the House of Commons that in future all Prison Wardens will now have to carry out a bed-time drill.
At 22.00hrs they will enter the cells with cups of cocoa or horlicks for the prisoners returning later to supervise them into bed ensuring that they are tightly tucked in and that their pillows have been positioned correctly so as not to cause neck strain.
Quick, pass me a bucket!!!!! :sicky:

I used to be an optimist but with age I am now a grumpy old pessimist.

We are in the process of making enquiries with moving to either NZ or Canada. Depends when and where vacancies arise.jonesey2k wrote:If I was off, Id go to either Switzerland or New Zealand tbh. Canada might get a look in too.
A lad from our team at work has just returned from Perth - Australia, after six months, as his wife and little girl could'nt get to grips with the place. He left behind a nice house, decent pension and well respected position. He now has to start again from scratch. The move to Oz and back again has set him back thousand's!
I feel sorry for him to have gone all the way over there and it not worked out for him.
If I had a choice I'd move to the USA. Personally I think the place is amazing and arguably, depending on location of course, one of the best places to live & work. Wonder if Leif has a room spare?
