A SPICY sausage known as the Welsh Dragon will have to be renamed after trading standards’ officers warned manufacturers that they could face prosecution because it does not contain dragon...

I really expected those dragon sausages to be full of hearty, firey dragon goodness.

The product was not sufficiently precise to inform a purchaser of the true nature of the food

The totally annoying thing is that someone has been paid to point that out to the 'unaware' consumers :huf:

Just off the top of my head, do 'Wine gums' have real wine in them?
Seriously though.. if this is all true, it's darned stupid! Why DO people have to be warned that they aren't eating Puff-the-magic-dragon, when dragon doesn't exist in the first place!
Madness.

It's insulting really
Do that think we are so stupid as to assume that Welsh Dragon sausages contain Welsh ingredients :k:
What about Shepherds pie
Rock cakes
Fisherman's Friends?
I really wish they would concentrate on real issues.
