New one on me ...but there were over the years many, many bizarre projects that were just ideas and impracticable as a product.... but often spurred thinking in a direction that eventually produced something viable.

Was it not originally based on the Victor wing... now that would have been special as the victor wing was a much better design (in many ways) than the comet/nimrod.

Wouldn't have thought so Ben as HP was independent at that time

But even if there was one, that drawing is clearly a Comet/Nimrod unit and the design number being one above the Nimrod's HS.801 indicates an almost parallel design
