Try something like the Rainbow 6 series... although maybe a little to urban for your liking!

What about Splinter Cell... or even better, my Favourite Game of ALL TIME!!! METAL GEAR SOLID!!!

If you like a challenge from a game... then play that!
Although, you will need a console!

As for PC games.... well... an older game, Delta Force Land Warrior?

To my mind, not much in the region of Task Based - FPS been released on PC in a while... not that isn't all urban warfare, anyway!!!

I've been known to crank up Halo once in a while; oh, and a selection of 'Worms' titles!! :gun:

Actually, since the new widescreen I've been revisiting some old favourites; X2 is pretty darned impressive at 1440 x 900. But somehow I've refrained from picking up any Leisure Suit Larry titles!

Heh, Im in all the latest FPS, Hl2 & Ep1, Q4 FEAR & Extraction point, BF2, X3, UT04, FarCry, CSs, DODs ect.
Currently playing Eve Online

Im also trying to replay Doom3 in the dark with my new Z5500's cranked up :) Good to say that Ive forgotten quite a few of the best jumpy-out-soil-self moments
Same goes with FEAR, That is one of my all time best games to replay becuase the AI is just so good.

Like CB I'm a GR fan, still have it installed on my PC but not played it for a while. Used to play it a lot online with a bunch of friends. Pistols only in the Castle is fun. COD/UO is fun, I've also got COD2 but need a faster PC really. But, back to GR, creeping around trying to outflank someone whilst not getting outflanked oneself can get the hairs on the back of your neck standing up. More fun with the threat detector off as well.

Rgds

I never really got into COD/COD2 tbh. I was more of a MOHAA man and its million expansions but then I got bored of WW2 games.

Any self respecting Half-Life fan should check this out:

The origional HL remade with HL2's source engine!

I got bored of the WW2 stuff as well. I prefer present day warfare games.
