Nice bike Tonks, will no doubt keep you occupied. Unfortunately spokes can work lose early on, but the shop should have conducted an PDI prior to you collecting it.
However its no big drama, whatever you do, don't try and tighten or fix the spokes yourself as the concept of wheel building/true-ing is a fine art that requires specialist kit and tools. I came a cropper of this and wrecked a wheel trying to tighten up the spokes!
Get back to the spotty faced bike guru in store and tell em to sort it pronto.
What have you all had for Christmas then??

Well I got a couple of books, (How to Mountain bike like a champine! & The art of Mountain bike maintenance), A subscription to Mens 'ealth for 12 months (someone trying to tell me summit?) loads of Hackett Smellies, Socks!, and more books (Peter Kay etc)
I didn't get anything edible and I'm not taking anything back!

I bought myself Just Flight's Cargo Pilot (no good asking my family for FS stuff, they just look at me funny!). It's OK, am a bit miffed that practically all the CBFS gear is beyond the starting price range, so I have to fly some peice of Cessna cack out of a dirt strip in North Dakota for about a month until I can afford a Viking or Dove  The fuel consumption figures it uses are a bit dodgy too. Nevertheless, I shall persevere, Im sure I can 'persuade' the software to do things my way
Im also going to treat myself to the CLS A300-600 package as a 'New Year present' (or something like that). Its partly British and nearly a classic, so I can order it with a clear conscience!

Bless the wife for she really went to town this year.
Overcoat, mobile phone (got from Tesco yesterday as £20 orft the cost if you bought £40 of shoppin' then a marvellous book of Speed Addicts (Grand Prix Racing) starting with drivers such as Jose Froilan and Juan Manuel Fangio who (I didn't know until now) used to call each other bandy legs and fatso!! but apparently no outsider would ever had dared to be so disrespectful by acknowledging them in that way.
Many more facts about the drivers that I had not been aware of either. Would recommend it to anyone interested in F1.

I used to be an optimist but with age I am now a grumpy old pessimist.
