Best Payware Aircraft of 2006.............
The Sibwings SAAB Safir...........takes FS flying into another realm of realism.

Best Scenery for 2006..........Flightzone02 Portland, everything FSX should have been...........and wasn't. Shame it was not freeware.

Best Freeware Aircraft

Torn, but between Ricks Argosy and the HS 748, both excellent examples, (I can't rememeber when the Argosy was released, it might not apply to this catagory)

best payware a/c

Without a doubt the CLS A340, thourghly enjoyed flying that!

And the scenery would be the good old Just flight/Get mapping VFR.

Yes, I know thats just the fs2002 scenery re-hashed for fs2004, but its better than the default.

Haven't bought any payware this year :-$

As far as freeware products go I would not like to vote one against the other as all the aircraft built for the flight simulator community from Rick, Derek and the Daves' etc. are all worthy of the top nominations

Sorry, but just call me indecisive :dunno:

Best freeware:
Ricks 748, 780 and Chiipie.
DM's 1-11 VC update.
Project Tupolev
Real Environment Professional

Best payware:
Dreamflett Bonanza with McLeland Turbokit. (Yes I know it was released in 2005 but meh)
FS Addon's Tongass Fjords

I would add the CS 757 to the list as the model is superb but the default 737 airfile cannot be excused.

I cant really say what is best, because best is very subjective.
