Indeed!! A lot of thought has gone into that shot with only a few tell-tale clues that something might be amiss.. that is unless Duxford have been moving the airliners around again  The 1-11 is this side of the Brit.. the Trident is the other side of the VC10 and there's no Comet to be seen. Very impressive though

Very impressive

My grass never looks detailed...it's alwar muck smeared soft greenish colour with no detail..that looks very realistic.

Thanks for posting Ed

You are correct Garry, the grass is from a photo and has been added after the shot was taken.

Yes, the grass looks so exactly English and right...It was the grass that made me think it was some sort of edit. I'm not sure if I have Garry's Duxford. I must go there and see if my grass looks as good as that. The concrete fence posts look great too

EDIT: Oh OK we crossed with our posts...so it was an edit

The grass is English alright albeit from Shoreham!

Hello DaveB, yes even at Duxford they shift the aircraft around! ... My FS Duxford has looked like this for years and includes Classic wings AI Tiger Moth training flights and Dehavilland Rapide sightseeing flights.

I have found the regular fixing of AI parking at LHR and LGW to be quite annoying now!
