Looks like a colour plate in the books we used to have as kids.
Aircraft are naturally landscape format , so to get an image that's portrait and works is something special

I agree on the hues for red and blue... it's a quickie and it shows. But at least u get the idea, Motormouses great pix is a perfect poster vehicle. Let's see what says Mr. Piper
PS: I'm open to any copy suggestions, my point was to make a poster out of the Chippie shot.
