Sorry Garry, I've confused things. I used Arial Black when I made the BOAC logo for the 737 - copy that Arena Black is the correct font.

This is Arena black close but a little more round on the 'o' than Arial

The titles in those days wer rarely fonts as such in fact with the 748 paints I did there was not one that I didn't have to modify or remake the titles.

For straight off purposes like this I think this is close enough and can be altered easily to fit the curves or whatever it needs

Staight font

Dammit, cbfsim stops me working aga

I don't think we have to worry about fonts anymore - I found this:

... available at:

It's an Adobe Illustrator vectored eps which are usually the best, most definitive logos to use - they scale to any size. To open the original, you need Illustrator, but you can open them as raster eps's in Photoshop, then you can drag it onto your repaint artwork. Not sure about PSP, I don't use it

Thanks very much Garry and Simtrac, as a matter of fact I found BrandsOfTheWorld.com about fifteen minutes after creating this thread (see post #3!)

The textures will be completed when I've gotten all these flaming alligators out of my house - they're up to my neck at the moment...
