Favourite Album

Post by soggy »

I have just spent the past couple of hours watching various Pink Floyd videos on you tube, whilst trying to teach my 3 y/o daughter the words. She now knows what good music is but needs more practice with the words.

Anyway what is your favourite album and track from that album?

Mine has to be:Pink Floyd The Final Cut -- The Gunners Dream.

That's actually a very tough question, I love so many.

I would probably say that it's one of the following but they chop and change ofter.

The Smashing Pumpkins - Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness
Led Zeppelin - Led Zeppelin IV
Ash - 1977
Face to Face - Don't Turn Away
Sublime - 40oz to Freedom

So many more too, I can't decide.

A kind of Magic - Queen

One vision is awesome. (Obviously I only play it when flying F-16's behind enemy lines)

Is this a toughie or what?!

I think Moby - Play is one for starters.

I may have to have a long hard think about this though.

Changes a lot, depending on mood. At the moment though it would have to be Gogol Bordello's "Gypsy Punks" CD, especially the track "Immigrant Punk"

What a silly question. There can only be one best album which should be everybody's favourite!

It is, of course, Bob Dylan's "Highway 61 Revisited" and the best song ever is "Like A Rolling Stone".

I don't know why they bother writing any more songs.......

Ian

AH Ian - you bring back more memories

I hope Im quoting correctly :)

Oh God said to Abraham, "Kill me a son"
Abe says, "Man, you must be puttin' me on"
God say, "No." Abe say, "What?"
God say, "You can do what you want Abe, but
The next time you see me comin' you better run"
Well Abe says, "Where do you want this killin' done?"
God says, "Out on Highway 61.

ahhh Uncle Robert could write em ok
