Leif - Aint no thread direction on my posts! Let 'em go where they will

I love wild animals but it's not so easy to see them in the wild and zoos do a good PR job for them and help conservation, albeit at the expense of the individual.

I've been lucky in the past to spend so much time in Africa and hoping to get back again this year. I had planned to enrol in a Game Ranger course in South Africa when I retired in 2001 (following divorce 2). But I got sidetracked by a wild beaver and ended up behind bars again instead! Life's a bugger, isn't it?

How old is Tag?

Ah, you lucky man. What a bright looking kid. I never had one of my own but picked up cyberbrat at age 6 and as he'd never had a Dad he adopted me and we've grown up together (15 now  ). His Mum takes second place

I can't imagine how much more you could love a kid that's your own. He's what I go to work for. Compared to your kids nothing else comes close, does it?

You know what I mean.

Ian

Precisely Mate

hes standing here next to me "looking for the airport" (the airport being Teeside as Im doing a little jolly from Norwich to Teeside ) he gets a kick out of finding the airport beacon before his old dad does - also thanks to DaveB and Toms photographs (which adorn his wall) he was able to falbbergast an ER Doctor the other night who gave him an aeroplane book while he stitched up a gash in his calf - Tag opened the book (ERP was apparetly a pilot) and pointed at a picture and said very calmy as the doc stitched away "That is a Spitfire" And it was :)
