It was taken off in September 2003

At the time it was speculated it was going to Museum run by Peter Vallence

It remained at the edge of the apron before being towed down the the far end near to the fire area.

Later that year it was reported as being donated to the fire service

But nothing I have come across gives it eventual fate.

I have only ever been to Gatwick four times.......1968,1985,1989,1993 so the last I saw of it was when it was a fairly new exhibit.

1993  :tuttut: why did you go then.

James

Hi James

I think what puzzles us....and try to answer without quoting constantly.....what you meant by asking me why I went in 1993.

What significance or not does that have?

:dunno:
