British Aerospace RJ7
What is a British Aerospace RJ7 as defined on a Lufthansa ticket?
I'll be on one Munich - Birmingham next week, so it would be nice to know what to expect
Seems like it could be a CRJ700 or a BAE RJ

From what I can find, it's a variation of the BAe 146.

There was also a an RJ-115 which would have had 115 seats and an extra under-wing exmergency exit but no-one ever ordered one
As Garry says, the 146 was replaced in 1993 by the Avro RJ series which is basically a 146 with an EFIS cockpit, CAT III autoland and FADEC controlled LF507 engines in place of the TMS controlled ALF-502s.
Only weird thing is AFAIK, Lufthansa (incl. subsidiaries, franchisees etc) dont have any RJ70s, only 146-200/300s and RJ-85s

Hi Toby
TBH I was trying to think of a German RJ-70 as well
Looks like Ian will have to let us know on that one

Tom
Don't you just love it when that happens
