FSX SP1 about to go beta!

Post by Trev Clark »

François A. Dumas, Managing Editor of The simFlight network, had a telephone conference with Microsoft's FS Global Product Manager Jason Ing and Community Manager Hal Bryan today, to learn of a few exciting bits of news that will be released NOW on FSInsider too.

First of all they acknowledged that Service Pack 1 (SP1) will see the light around April (and go into Beta any minute now), bringing a much needed and anticipated increase in performance of the new sim ! This is especially important for all those customers coming from FS9 and running into more or less major disappointments using their current hardware.
Hal said the FS team is still intact and very much working on improving FSX, and excited about progress that has been made and will be brough to us in SP1.
I hope it works in Windows XP
