Nice avatar too btw
I hasten to add that I was the photographer and not the pilot - I still have a full head of hair. I never got my hands on a DH twin..

I was going to ask but thought it rude.. just in case  The last two or three times I've been in one of the old girls, I've been loaded on the LH side which, as you know, is pretty poo for getting that sort of shot

I was lucky as I could walk around the aircraft - having been asked by Aer Lingus to take the press shots of the flight (anniversary of the first mail flight from DUB to IOM).

Bigger shots on my home page at http://www.homepages.mcb.net/bones/index.htm

If you want to wallow in a little nostalgia I've started to scan my early photos and some are to be found at http://www.homepages.mcb.net/bones/Phot ... hotos2.htm
