I know it's late but I'm going to Cosford tomorrow with the camera. Is there any particular shot anyone needs?

I'll check back upto 10:00 Sunday morning before I go.

Hi Eddie

The Viscount went up tp Scotland...I think.... ages ago just after the Trident and before the VC 10 went.

Well I had a thoroughly wet windy and otherwise enjoyable day at Cosford. The new building is open and what sight! it's large to put it mildly.

The loss of the civil airliners is very evident but it is a military museum after all.

Not too sure how I feel about the new building, it's dedicated to the cold war period and it's equipment. For a change you can get right up and even under the aircraft and some are slung from the ceiling. There is a fine display, all the UK types of the period, a US F111 eben a Mig-15 and 21.

However as a modeller I have to say I don't like it - the exhibits are packed in so densely that you can't get far enough away to get any good photographs. Nit-picking I know but..

I went there to try out the new camera and was quite pleased with it, unfortunately when I got home and turned it on all I got was a message saying 'Memory card unusable - please insert a new one' ARRRGHHHHHH

90 plus pictures down the drain. So sorry no TSR-2 pics but I did get a couple of the Comet on another card I happened to have in at the beginning. I'll post those later along with another couple of nice ones.
