Just registered for the VA hope to start flying for you guys soon so I thought I would introduce my self.
Just come back to flight simming after a year away of playing a real time space simulation (eveonline) and after downloading and using the BAC 1-11 for the past few weeks I've fallen in love with FS again! :dance:
Before I went away I'd been flight simming on some level since the 1990's with a very basic flight sim on the specrum and the Airbus A320 package on the commodore amiga, after that I've had FS2000 FS2002 and FS2004, not quite sure about FSX at the moment I think i'll wait until its supported more.
In the real world I like to spot at my local airport EGCC and also love to fly/travel (sadly as a passenger), my next flight is to KORD in April and I can't wait!

Thank you for the welcome guys, I'm sure I'll have lots of fun, it adds a little more realism that I've been looking for I think, keeping a log of my flights and getting my hands wacked for sloppy proceedures 
Certainly loving flying the old iron, I've was getting bored of programming the FMC all the time and letting LNAV and VNAV do all the work in my 767's and 737's!! :huf:

I am Mark Herrett from the USA, Southern Oregon to be exact. I am 52 and an avid Flight Simmer. I am retired from the U.S. Air Force and a Lt.Col. in the Civil Air Patrol. I am also a former Commercial Pilot although the biggest jet I ever flew was a corporate Cessna Citation 2.
I recently downloaded the BAC 1-11's and the Vickers Super VC-10 and CK-1 and have gained a new appreciation and love of British Jets.
I am looking forward to flying with you all.

Keypoints to flying with CBFS (which I'm sure you'll have read already) are.. No pilot rosters so you fly when and if you want and no one jumping down your throat!!
Anything at all you're not sure of, just post down in the crew room and one of the pilots will jump to your aid pronto Be warned though.. if you have more than enough time on your hands.. this can be very addictive

Thanks for the warm welcome. I do have a operational question, but I'll post it where you suggested in the crew lounge area. I had the privilage of flying in an Allegheny BAC-1-11 back when I was in college from Washington DC to Portland, Maine via Boston, MA. As I remember, a very nice aircraft to fly in.
