Quick somebody get Maltby a seat on Canopus for the next fast taxi!!!! That usually does the trick.
I wish I was in touch my old mate Nick Newton (canopus's last FE), I am pretty sure he is still involved with her. That looks so bloody good DM, I shall just hope that the muse will be upon you again soon.

Wow!

I remember the building very well...looks just great.

The Comet, as it looks in that picture would be an obvious winner...Sadly, I never visited the flight deck on one and only flew a couple of times in the RAF version. Those seats are going to make it very desirable for everybody

Wow! That VC looks very nice indeed, the master has been at it again! I hope that you will get the urge to finish it one day
Of all the aircraft I would say Comet had the hardest VC to model.

Canopus would probably only upset me - it's too different in the cockpit. I need a fast taxi run in Duxford's APDB instead please.

The Comet VC probably looks better than it is. Those seats do look great from the back, way better than the front anyway.
It is a bloody awkward cockpit to model. Trying to get that kind of clutter and untidiness is quite hard. That overhead is a nightmare as well.

Glad you like the building. I always liked that one in real life, quite distinctive.
Not too sure when they changed the colour to a dark blue & removed the lettering, but it was certainly like that in 1969 & 1974.
No doubt I am biased, but it was such a nice airport all round in the 70s.

There's been a Comet VC on the go for quite a while, but it may never make it to release.
