I just finished my first flight in the argonaut. Wonderful aircraft.

I now have a challenge for anyone reading this.

IM currently in EDDI and want to get to HECA. Ive tried all possible combinations exept for going to birmingham 9 (at least i think so) which is in the wrong direction.

Any help

Hi Jon..

The easiest way as far as I can see is to go to EDDV (Hannover) and then back to EGKK (Gatwick). There you can pick up a flight to LIRA (Ciampino - Rome) and from LIRA direct to HECA (Cairo).

Actually.. LIRA serves the Argonaut very well with onward flights to EGLL/LHR, OSDI/Damascus, LLBG/Ben Gurion, HLLT/Tripoli as well as Cairo and back to Gatwick. Some nice routes there

H Jonathan,

Argonauts have only just gone onto the fleet and it's horses for courses with pilots preferences, so not all/many may wish to fly her.

That's it exactly Jonathan

Only you and Steve have picked up the challenge thus far and although I'm type rated on it, all but one of my flights were for route proving purposes (I manage the piston prop fleet and it's always useful to get an idea of how the aircraft will perform 'Live' before they're handed to the pilots). I can't see me doing too many flights in the old girl as many of the stages are in excess of 3hrs duration and sitting in front of that panel is just too much for 3hrs at x1.. for me anyway

So.. you just about have the Argonaut fleet at your personal disposal for the moment

you do realise you made a bad mistake when you gave me a type rating. Ill give it until june before the world is littered with argonaut shaped craters
