Hi VTS

I have the Rhode Is scenery too and it's just about as good as portland but has no moving road traffic.

you won't be dissapointed.

I have Portland now too and it's gorgeous.
I shall be buying anything these guys make as it has something nobody else's scenery has (dunno what but it has it) :worried:

Regards
Rick

Hi Rick,

I like what I've seen of it already. The Portland scenery is definatly on my list as a purchase, and probably the others when they are released. I thought the VFR was good (and it is) but this I probably prefer. The detail in the airports is like nothing I've ever seen before.

Another great advantage is that its kind to my steam powered computer that refuses to run FSX at all well so FS9 it is for the foreseeable future!

EDIT: Was messing around at the terminals and noticed that they've even modeled road signs and so on, at times makes FS look like a photograph!

Ken, is it easy enough to get the B-36 into Portland ? I've bought the scenery, and the Alphasim B-36 has been on my 'I'll get that next' list for a while
You could get a B36 into Portland Intl, I manage to get a (lightly loaded) C-5 into Portland Hillsboro, but taxying requires care!

I took the plunge and purchased the Alpha B36 (nicer outside than in :worried: ) and can easily land and take off at Portland Hillsboro with a light fuel load, see proof below............

 To avoid the wifey issues just do what I do...handle all the finances yourself. My wife doesn't see a single bill since I take care of things. Any and all flightsim transactions slide quietly beneath her radar.

Leif, tell you what I'll do. I'll set up a Paypal account, called "Abandoned Kitten Rescue Centre". Then I'll buy you what you want from Alphasim, and you can pay me back by making selfless 'donations' to help the unfortunate kittens. The Mrs will be hugely impressed with your caring and sensitive nature, and you'll get secret additions to your payware collection.
