Hope that you'll give these models another try. Designers have worked very hard to give us all planes that represent some form of the real thing and as DM have pointed out the autopilot is difficult to achieve.
Give the F28 another chance and rtm, please. The autoland not always work and needs specific parameters.

Thanks for pointing out the 1-11 510ED autoland system. I didn't know about that one as I normally use the 400 version.

Autoland Tests

I have done many Autoland tests of different aircraft in real life and it used to be a pretty complex job card. One guy moving the gyros, another running the pitot-static box, another the nav-ils test box, a couple more spinning up the wheel transducers for auto-spoiler and auto-brake inputs,plus 2 more in the cockpit who have to sign it out after doing their bit. Contrast that to the Airbus A-320 which is 2 guys pushing some buttons and checking for proper indications on the screens in the cockpit. Ain't technology grand.
