That's presumably the JF 'Flying Club' Shoreham, is it?

And where did the Prentice come from please? Possibly the slowest aircraft I've ever had the misfortune to fly in, apart from various gliders of course.

Hurcule Poirot was there in the week (on two repeats) and both times in an Air Atlantique DC3

The only thing to spoil it was a b1oody Cessna taxiing in one of the shots!! :-$

Quite right on the scenery.

Prentice is by Jed 'Padbury Aircraft' Marsh, I'm sure you'll get a pointer where to find it

, slow...it was going backwards in todays rw winds!

Must admit to having a soft spot for the Prentice, slow and stable, lovely airplane.

I flew in a few Prentices in the late 50s, early 60s and was amazed how slow the take-off speed was. Our Instructor pilot mentioned that it was always vital to get an accurate local wind speed from the tower before even taxi-ing. :think:

Some years ago I managed to get a back-seat ride in the Air Atlantique one and was even more amazed that it would fly that slow! More knowledge by then of course.

I have that JF 'Flying Club' scenery myself and very nice it is too. Sometimes I feel like a little .bgl editing to remove the newer buildings, strictly for personal use of course......

From my Avatar, you can see I like the Prentice! It was a beta version for a still borne (probably) project and not released, as far as I know. Jed has retired, I think.
