The mighty Meteor

Post by TSR2 »

A fun evening in the Irish Sea I decided to chase my new AI ferries in the Meatbox, this we aircraft is brilliant in FSX... One of my favourites! Thanks Rick

Loch Ryan with both the Stranraer and Cairnryan ferries...

Only the Belfast ferry remained on my route to Belfast City, the other one is heading for Larne.

Thanks Dan

I'm loving the boats, and AI Boat Traffic Compiler (AIBTC). The ability to plot routes in Google Earth and transfer them to the sim for the ships is brilliant! I may even have a go at making Ships in GMAX (although GMAX doesn't seem to like 64bit windows :worried: )

I still need to work on the schedules, trafficbuilkder in the SDK does not alow the scheduling of Ships, but this wee tool does, its a master piece.

Glad you like the shots

Great pictures ! I don't go much for the fast military jets ( they are too fast...I need time to change NAV radio frequencies  ), but Rick's Meteor is an exception. I've had some thrilling instrument approaches into snow-stormy Canadian airports in that wonderful machine.

Which SRN4? There's one on FSShipyards at :-

http://www.fs-shipyards.org/index.php?i ... w&iden=216

It works OK, but it's a V 1.0 and needs more details and better textures really. It has the world's biggest spray effect if you're 'flying' it from 'Spot View though.

Kit
