Hi Guys,

I found out this tip by accident some time ago. When you have cropped and resized your picture in whatever image editing suite you may have, try this :

Open M$ Paint, open your image and then resave it using a different name if you wish to preserve the original. You should find that the re-saved image is of substantially reduced size with no/minimal loss of quality for web viewing. Try it, I think you'll be surprised. This will help our dial-up friends when you wish to post images.

I use a Micro$oft PowerToy.

M$ Image Resizer

Looks a bit like this when you right-click an image file:

Then you get these options what size to make them. Medium is the correct size for most forums.
