Nice shots, Dave

I particularly like the Spitfire and Hurricane.

I too had a most enjoyable day - and have the sunburn to prove it

Here are one or two of my own humble offerings -

Kevin,

Humble? They're terrific!

The start-up pics are particuarly good. You must have been quick off the mark to get the 'Squirt' when the Canberra started, I could almost hear the whine....

Kit

I believe that's the new colour scheme on the old Fury, although I think the two seater they're getting is similar. As I understand it it's the original colour scheme that aircraft had in service, rather than masquerading as the MiG Killer.

Thanks for the kind words guys.

Kit, the first shot was a complete blur. Despite having watched the port engine start and then observed the ground crew indicate starboard engine start, the 'BANG' made me jump out of my skin. Fortunately, the smoke continued for several seconds and I was able to get a second shot, which you see.

Jab and SkippyBing

I can confirm that the Sea Fury is in the new dark grey colour scheme. The aircraft had a small incident with fuel spillage, which is shown in the third picture.

Anyone notice the perfect 'smoke ring' that the Spit emmited on start-up?

Cheers

Kevin

Those were some eye-wateringly beautiful pics there, Dave, professional quality and a good number of them are off to become my wallpaper! The other thing they're going to be used for is to show some of my friends over here just what a real airshow looks like! All I hear from them is Blue Angels this and that, but this is the real thing. I miss Duxford and Mildenhall a lot I can tell you.

Being a Cranberry nut, you seriously made my day with the 163 shots, and that start-up shot was artistic. Top marks all round, sir!
