as hinted in earlier posts, I have started work on painting Paul Foster's Vulcan. While still not 100% satisfied with the handling of the plane, the paintwork is coming along, albeit pre-weathered. Once I get some grime on her she should look better. The trouble has been deciding whether to do XL360 as she stands in her weather-beaten state at the M.A.M., or a more line-realistic, polished up version with stenciling et al. I opted for the latter.
See what you think, all feedback MUCH appreciated as I am somewhat a Vulcan noob
Been waiting for some extra PF Vulcan paints! Looks nice.
I've been playing around with the handling a bit, although it still doesn't quite feel like a Vulcan should (or at least how I think it should). Perhaps someone has had a good crack at the FDEs?
The model and all looks lovely and detailed. Great work!
My personnal taste would opt for this "clean" version, while I'm sure that there may be some people who would like the more weathered version. Maybe I would also see the charm of the latter. Difficult choice, Steve. I'll let you decide and I'm sure to enjoy the experience with either version.
