CBFSVA is pleased to announce that the Miles Marathon is ready for service.
This quirky little aircraft was trialled by BEA but was never introduced onto their fleet. The only civilian UK operator of the type was Derby Aviation/Derby Airways who operated three aircraft between 1955 and 1960, mainly between the Midlands and Channel Islands. This aircraft was operated in VFR conditions and summer time only as no de-icing equipment was fitted.
