JP5 for Classic Flight

Post by Tom Everitt AFG »

Well, the latest addition to the fleet arrived at 1300 this afternoon:

This now gives us a sizable collection of classic British jets, and with a Hunter to come in early 2008, we will shortly be able to display a good proportion of the early British jets.

Gogeous Tom... bloody well done CS! The JP is a great wee aircraft and if I ever won the lottery I'd love one. Does she need much done?

Lovely looking aircraft, however I cannot see one without remembering how I set one on fire once, by closing the nose panel! Still it was a Mk 3 not that pretty one you have there :worried:

Excellent news Tom, the JP ws one of my favourite aircraft yet unfortunately never had the chance of flying in one when in the RAF.

I've noticed from reading the June issue of Flypast that Classic Flight will be in the magazines' July issue on the subject of 'From the Workshop'.

That should be an interesting read as you had already been responsible for the major overhaul of the Lanc, will classic Flight be looking to extending their services further afield with vintage aircraft servicing and restoration?

Regards Nigel.

It is indeed. A good article too, including a paragraph or two with Tom himself...

Lucky to get 120hrs on BF(J)T nowadays!

I take it that it's (temporarily at least) restricted aerobatically? Looks a very nice example though.
