I stand corrected then! My knowledge of the finer details of the Trident 1 isn't up to scratch.

Probably because I've never been on one, or had a decent FS model of one!

Once off the ground though all that the BOAC crew would see would be a speck in their windscreen getting quickly smaller

Especially if it was a 1E
