How can he have possibly "flied" it. Pictures I have seen, he would never get it in the pan!! :dunno:

Perhaps the editor used my trypewriter?

Could it be a new American slang word he's invented? If not then it's disgraceful speling!!

You see so much of this today Trev. Not only poor spelling but also lack of punctuation.A few years ago I was reading a novel by a well known journalist and newsreader. After having to be constantly re-reading sentences and paragraphs for them to make sense,I realised that the punctuation missing. In the end I just gave up.Why don't folks rite and spel inglish proper? EricT

Since the story had already happened maybe it shouldn't be 'flied' at all but 'flewed'

Seriously though it is not always easy to spell and punctuate correctly but these things go beyond that and shows no care was taken.

One of my pet hates is the amount of text spelling that gets used like 'M8' for instance.

These things are deliberate and it is the intention to do it that way that I dislike so much.

If you're a writer for a website/newspaper/magazine then it should be inexcusable!
