A quick screenie of Ben and Dave B in Lancs on route to the Dams in Northern Germany, last night. We'll do it in the dark next time! Yes, I am in a Hampden BTW

Cool shot Trev  Glad your system changed me to a 'Special' as I was in a BIII

I've had a whizz round with FSCommander and I think our navigation will be easier on the next run. No more Google Earth and AA Europe

I now have copied the same Lanc as you you guys had yesterday into FSX. Mine was a beta, just prior to release, so I hope it will work. Do not want a Shack on the Dams Raid really :-#

Not sure what time you guys can start but I'm working this evening.. day off tomorrow so I can fly into the night if required :worried: I have the raid planned out in FSCommander (as per waypoints off the RAF site) so we should be ok as long as we stay together. Any stragglers and its Google Earth/AA Europe for you!!

Hi Chaps,

Was working tonight, but tomorrow night looks good for me. Ideally we can get multiples of 3, and although we use one session we could do it in waves of three as per the original... I'll try and get home sharpe tomorrow so we can have a decent go at it. I'll give this FS Commander thing a bash too. Ideally one leader in each wave could use it so we are all following someone who has a map..... not like last night

Can we get an idea of numbers? Ideally everyone will need a Lanc and some coffee and buscuits... this will be a long one!

Hi Ben..

Well, I'm up for this one  Sameole as last night.. PD Lanc but this time with the correct ordnance  We gonna go at the correct speed too as last nights 'dry run' was a little fast.. ok, a LOT fast

As long as there's no pretence to historic accuracy, it can be kept low and at speed, with the exception of the primary/secondary target areas which should be kept as close as poss to the real deal. I've run this once before and we're looking at only 140kts  I'll run it in a few mins and get an idea of FSC8's suitability plus times/fuel e t c
